The City of Denver’s Department of Parks & Recreation returns its Movies in the Park! series for a seventh go-round, offering Blu-ray formatted films on 24-foot-wide inflatable screens with high-quality sound, starting at dusk. Lawn chairs or blankets and picnic treats are welcome.

3rd Annual Summer Carillon Series

This unusual summer series highlights the 65-bell Williams Carillon located in the golden spire of the Ritchie Center athletic complex, at the southwest corner ofBuchtel and University Blvd. The best listening space is in the courtyard at the south end of the Ritchie Center. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket and dress for the vagaries of summer nights in the foothills. Each evening will begin with music at 6:45p.m.; movies start at dusk.
