There are jobs and then there are callings. For me, being the publisher of The Profile is a calling. I’ve been a dedicated reader of the paper since my husband Jay and I moved to Platt Park in 1996. The high quality editorial content keeps me well informed about what’s happening at a neighborhood level and advertisements encourage me to patronize local businesses.

Farschman brings considerable experience in newspaper publishing and digital media to her new role, and hopes to build on the foundation laid by decades of Profile staffers as she shepherds the paper into the brave new world of print/on-line journalism.

On May 5, Denver voters will state their preference for Mayor, City Auditor, Clerk & Recorder, 13 members of Denver City Council and any issues that find their way to the ballot by filing deadline.

New DPS High School Empowers Innovation, Social Entrepreneurs | Print |  E-mail

The evolution of the new Byers campus at 150 S. Pearl St. continues. Following a $20 million renovation, the historic Byers Junior High School building was reopened last year as home to the latest iteration of Denver School of Science and Technology (DSST), as well as the temporary location of Bromwell Elementary, whose Cherry Creek North home was also undergoing major reconstruction.
